Student Testimonials
During my study at the Marine Information Systems study program at the Indonesian University of Education, I gained a lot of experience in the fields of programming, web development, and system design and in the marine sector, namely being able to work directly in coastal communities, study marine affairs, coastal economy, and go underwater by diving now. Another experience is being able to participate in the tri dharma of higher education, namely education, research, and community service by becoming a laboratory assistant, participating in research and community service with lecturers and other students. Teaching staff strongly supports students' talents and interests so that teaching staff can channel them into achievements at the national and international levels.
Studying in Marine Information Systems gave me insight and expertise that could equip me for a future career, including information systems project management, web design, database operations, and coastal and marine ecosystem management. Studying in the Marine Information Systems study program is very enjoyable; the lecturers are very friendly, friends support each other, and the facilities provided by the study program are pretty adequate, as well as the many student organizations and UKM supporters for developing in the campus environment.
During my study in the Marine Information Systems major, I got a lot of experiences that allowed me to continue to upgrade myself. The material taught in the Department of Marine Information Systems helped me determine my future career, such as data science, website management, marine and fisheries data management, remote sensing, etc. Marine Information Systems is supported by dedicated and competent teaching staff in their respective fields who always encourage their students to continue to excel in education, research, and service.
